Welcome to the Kiddie Koncierge 4th of July
Guide 2013!
Ah, the 4th.  While there are a ton of Independence Day
celebrations all over the San Francisco Bay Area, there are a few
that are noteworthy that we indicate with two “K”s  .

Some hints:
  • The 4th of July is Thursday this year
  • Consider public transportation – parking can be heinous
  • If you must drive, consider either off-cycle events such as
Richmond’s July 3rd fireworks or out of the way events
such as the Booneville 4th of July Celebration
  • Bear in mind that fireworks don’t start until the sun goes
down (otherwise, they are somewhat less interesting).
That means after 9:00 p.m. in early July.  If you have
younger kids, that may be an issue, so think about naps,
    feasibility, etc.
  • Fireworks are typically a rain or shine affair or, in Bay Area
speak, a fog or clear affair.  So, if you are looking at a cloud
ceiling of about 35 feet, you might consider scrubbing your
fireworks viewing otherwise you will be looking at
    beautifully tinted clouds.

Here is what’s going on around the Bay Area:
